Credit Where It’s Due

We can’t say enough good things about Gastor Almonte. He’s a People’s Voice Award winning storyteller, accomplished professional comedian and an integral part of the Funnier Than You Are team.

This past week, we were honored to be part of the Revolve Virtual Conference for event planners. Right before the show started, there was a tech glitch that meant there couldn’t be two-way video, so he couldn’t see his audience. Oomph! 

Two years of virtual comedy shows prepared him for this tough situation. Gastor still delivered (from his basement) and pulled people into his world with an amazing, funny and touching story. 

The comments on the platform blew up while he was performing. In fact, it was the most feedback and highest engagement of the entire conference. We’re considering that a virtual standing O!
